IIC, BA and Mentoring Services

The Purpose Project provides Intensive In-Community (IIC)Behavioral Assistant (BA), and Mentoring services through PerformCare and the New Jersey Children’s System of Care.

Services are designed to support youth and families within their natural environments, promoting stability, skill development, and long-term success.

Services are delivered in the home, school, and community, allowing families to receive meaningful support where challenges most often occur. The Purpose Project partners with organizations to strengthen mental health programs, support staff development, and improve workplace wellness.

Intensive In-Community (IIC) Services

IIC services are provided by licensed clinicians and focus on addressing complex emotional and behavioral needs that impact a youth’s functioning at home, school, and in the community.

Services are individualized and aligned with the family’s goals, cultural values, and strengths.

IIC services may include:

  • Individual and family therapy
  • Trauma-informed interventions
  • Emotional regulation and coping skills
  • Support for mood, anxiety, and behavioral challenges
  • Family strengthening and communication support
  • Collaboration with schools, CMOs, and DCP&P

Behavioral Assistant (BA) Services

Behavioral Assistants work under clinical supervision to support youth in building skills and improving daily functioning. BA services are hands-on and skill-focused, reinforcing therapeutic goals in real-time environments.

  • Modeling and reinforcement of positive behaviors
